Description

Take a planetarium tour of the current night sky and learn about which planets, constellations, star clusters, and more are visible this month. Also see what to look forward to in the sky throughout the winter months.

About the Presenter:

Christine Shupla is the Science Engagement Manager at the Lunar and Planetary Institute, with 20 years of experience in planetary science education and 15 additional years of experience in planetariums. She and her team providing professional development and resources to support early career planetary researchers and to assist scientists and science educators in their efforts to engage audiences in STEM. Ms. Shupla has a Bachelor’s degree in Astronomy from UT Austin and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from UNC-Chapel Hill. She is working remotely from Santa Clara Pueblo, NM.

Admission: $8/adult; $6/child; $20/family
Nature Center doors open at 6:45pm.
Planetarium events in general are not recommended for children under 5.
