Description

The Vera Rubin Observatory, located on a mountain in Chile, will use the largest camera ever constructed to scan the sky for 10 years. This survey will ultimately create a ultra-wide, ultra-high-definition time-lapse glimpse of the universe . Look at the first images released by the observatory on the planetarium dome and learn about what sets this observatory apart from previous ones. This program is aimed at audiences ages 8 and above.
Admission: $8/adult; $6/child; $20/family
Nature Center doors open at 6:45pm.
Planetarium events in general are not recommended for children under 5.
