Introducing the Nancy Roman Space Telescope

 Learn about NASA's newest space telescope in PEEC's planetarium. Named for the first chief astronomer of NASA, Nancy Grace Roman, the Roman Space Telescope is scheduled to launch on August 30 (ahead of schedule!).  The Roman Space Telescope will provide a complementary view to both the Hubble and Webb telescopes. Hear about what scientists hope to discover through the five year mission of this program, from exoplanets to more insight into both dark matter and dark energy. 

Admission: $8/adult; $6/child; $20/family

Nature Center doors open at 6:45pm.
Planetarium events in general are not recommended for children under 5.
