Nature Odyssey: Science in Nature (Week 2)

Embark on an epic adventure with PEEC this summer! Dive into the wild side with our Nature Odyssey day camp, where every day is a chance to unravel the mysteries of nature. Our enthusiastic group ventures into the great outdoors of Los Alamos and northern New Mexico, turning learning into a blast with hands-on activities and exploration. Get ready for a summer filled with laughter, discovery, and unforgettable moments in the heart of the great outdoors!

Nature Odyssey will be offered for two weeks in June 2024 and campers are welcome to register for one or both weeks. Each week will have a unique theme.

Week 2 theme of Nature Odyssey is Science in Nature:

Explore the ecosystems of Northern New Mexico like a true scientist. Campers will learn about the ecology and natural history of the area through science experiments and observations. 

Nature Odyssey is guided by seasoned educators with First Aid certification, ensuring a safe environment for every camper. Our experienced team designs camps that holistically address each participant's physical, mental, and emotional well-being, fostering a transformative and enriching summer experience.

This camp meets daily, Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 4 PM. Campers must be dropped off at Los Alamos Nature Center between 8:45 and 9:00 AM and picked up between 4:00 and 4:15 PM each day. Participants must be entering grades 4, 5, or 6 in fall 2024.
