CANCELED: October Full Moon Walk

Take a moonrise hike with us on Kwage Mesa trail. Join PEEC staff and local astronomers for a hike under the October full moon. The group will meet at the Kwage Mesa Trailhead by 6:30 pm and make an easy trek on the trail to watch the moonrise from the mesa top and look for other unique features in the October night sky. The hike will be no more than 2 miles round trip and end at 9:00 PM (or earlier). 

This program will take place outdoors, so dress appropriately for the weather. We suggest all participants bring a headlamp or flashlight (red lights are preferred for better star viewing). Registration for this program is limited to 25 people. Reserve your spot today!
