Description
Take a planetarium tour of the current night sky and learn about which planets, constellations, star clusters, and more are visible. Also see what to look forward to in the sky as the spring moves into summer.
About the Presenter:
Steve Becker received a Ph.D. in astronomy from the University of Illinois, Urbana (1979). After visiting Los Alamos for several years as a visiting scientist, he joined the Lab in 1983. Steve’s hobbies include piloting small planes, flying aerobatic planes in Santa Fe, history, photography, and travel. In 1995, he made it to the interview stage of the astronaut selection process.
Admission to the program is $8 for adults and $6 for children. Events in the planetarium are not recommended for children under age 4.
