Description
Join the Los Alamos Mountaineers for an exciting presentation by Paul Bradley, an experienced mountaineer with over 30 years of climbing experience. In this talk, Paul will share his journey climbing three of Mexico’s highest volcanoes:
- La Malinche (14,567 ft)
- Iztaccihuatl (17,160 ft)
- Pico de Orizaba (18,491 ft, the highest peak in Mexico)
Paul will discuss his decision to climb internationally, the benefits of joining a guided expedition, and his experience navigating these impressive peaks.
About the Presenter:
Paul Bradley has been climbing mountains for decades, primarily in Colorado and New Mexico. A long-time Los Alamos resident, he recently retired after a 31-year career at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Paul has climbed 199 of the 200 highest peaks in Colorado and continues to pursue new adventures in retirement.
