About the Presenter:
Kelcey Davis is a physics PhD candidate and observational astrophysicist at the University of Connecticut. She started her PhD within months of Webb’s launch and was part of the science team for the first deep field image taken with Webb, the Cosmic Evolution Early Release Science Survey (CEERS). She was recently awarded 60 hours for her own Webb program to study the time scales on which galaxies at cosmic dawn formed their stars, Star formation from Photometry through the Addition of Medium-bands (SPAM). Kelcey is visiting Los Alamos National Laboratory as a summer student.
