Description
Have you ever wanted to be a bird biologist? Have you ever wanted to band birds? If so, join us on Wednesday, October 29th at 6pm at the Los Alamos Nature Center where we will learn all about bird banding and get to experience what it's like research birds. This family friendly event will consist of a short presentation and various hands-on activities, suitable for all ages.
About the Presenter:
Spencer Zeitoune is a wildlife ecologist currently working as the lead avian intern at Bandelier National Monument. He has been fascinated by birds for a few years now and is eager to continue learning more about these winged wonders. He loves to inspire others to conserve wildlife through outreach and education opportunities whenever he can.
