Living Earth Adventure Program (LEAP)

Get set for an exciting summer adventure as we explore and unleash our curiosity at the most thrilling camp in town! Join us on a weeklong escapade across the Pajarito Plateau and beyond. From camping escapades in the Jemez Mountains to conquering the rapids of the Rio Grande Valley, each day is a thrill-packed journey filled with outdoor fun, daring feats, and self-discovery! Let the summer shenanigans begin! 

This week includes one overnight excursion, where campers will play outdoor games, look at the stars, cook, work together to set up camp, and get to know each other, as can only happen outdoors. 

LEAP is guided by seasoned educators with First Aid certification, ensuring a safe environment for every camper. Our experienced team designs camps that holistically address each participant's physical, mental, and emotional well-being, fostering a transformative and enriching summer experience.

This camp meets daily, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4 PM. Campers must be dropped off at Los Alamos Nature Center between 8:15 and 8:30 AM and picked up between 4:00 and 4:15 PM each day. Participants must be entering grades 7 or 8 in fall 2024.
