Gentle Walk

Join us for a hiking experience where the emphasis is upon discovery, not the mileage gained. Participants should bring water, good hiking shoes or boots, appropriate layers, and anything else you need to be comfortable while hiking outdoors.

In the case of inclement weather, the walk may be canceled. Email publicity@peecnature.org to request to join the Gentle Walks Google Group for more information on hike locations and other details. If a walk will be canceled, the notifications will be sent out to this email group by about 8 a.m. on Fridays.

The Gentle Walker group explores trails of around three miles, meandering from one item of interest to another. The group spends a bit of the time in silence, either sitting or walking to get a sense of the landscape. The group meets at 9:00 a.m. on Fridays at the nature center and returns between 11:30 a.m. and noon.
