Description
Study wildlife track and sign with specialist certified tracker Ann Hunkins.
Come on a walk and discover rich stories on the landscape. Learn techniques for wildlife track identification, signs on trees, scat, how four-legged animals move, gaits, animal track morphology and natural history. Get your burning questions about tracks answered and go home with a new perspective and understanding of what to look for and where. No experience necessary, but we may be walking over uneven ground. Bring weather-appropriate clothing and water.
About the Presenter:
Ann Hunkins is a tracking and nature educator living in Santa Fe, NM. She achieved her Track & Sign Specialist certification with the Certified Wildlife Trackers Association in 2023 in Southern California and a Level III in Trailing in Wisconsin, 2022. She teaches wildlife tracking around the Southwest.
