Los Luceros Day Camp

Does your child love spending time outdoors? Are they curious about the plants, animals, and water systems that make up the beautiful bosque ecosystem?

Returning this summer, PEEC and Los Luceros Historic Site are teaming up once again to offer a collaborative day camp filled with hands-on projects and outdoor adventures. Campers will explore the bosque with friends while diving into themes from the beloved New Mexico Outdoor Pass booklet.

Each day highlights a new theme, inspiring curiosity and discovery about the natural world. As they complete activities, campers will earn exciting outdoor prizes like camping mugs, picnic blankets, and multipurpose tools, perfect for future adventures.

This camp is guided by seasoned educators with current First Aid/CPR/AED certification, ensuring a safe environment for every camper. Our experienced team designs camps that holistically address each participant's physical, mental, and emotional well-being, fostering a transformative and enriching summer experience.

Los Luceros Day Camp meets daily, Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 4 PM. Campers must be dropped off at Los Luceros Historic Site between 8:45 and 9:00 AM and picked up between 4:00 and 4:15 PM each day. Participants must be entering grades 1, 2, or 3 in Fall 2025.
