Description

You are invited to step into the winter landscape for a hands-on wildlife tracking program led by Ann Hunkins, a specialist Certified Wildlife Tracker. This field based experience goes far beyond identifying animal footprints. Ann will guide participants through the subtle clues, patterns, and stories written across the snow and surrounding terrain, offering a deeper understanding of the wildlife that shares our local landscape.

Together, you will learn how to recognize tracks and sign, interpret animal behavior, and read the winter environment as a whole, from habitat features to movement patterns and the presence of unseen species. This immersive outing is perfect for anyone curious about the natural world and eager to explore how to see more when walking outdoors in winter.

No prior tracking experience is needed. Please dress for cold weather and be prepared for walking on snow covered and uneven terrain.
