Pathfinders: Block Party

In this Minecraft inspired camp, young explorers will uncover the real geology of the Pajarito Plateau and surrounding region. Campers will investigate local rocks, minerals, volcanoes, and landforms while using Minecraft themes to spark creativity and guide hands-on exploration.

From designing biomes to searching for geological clues on nearby trails, this camp blends curiosity, outdoor adventure, and imaginative play. Campers will make new friends, explore the canyons around the Los Alamos Nature Center, and discover how the real world shapes the worlds they love to build.

Pathfinders is guided by seasoned environmental educators with First Aid certification, ensuring a safe and supportive experience for every camper.

The camp meets daily, Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM. Drop off is from 8:45 to 9:00 AM and pick up is from 4:00 to 4:15 PM. Participants must be entering grades 1, 2, or 3 in Fall 2026.
