Join us for an exciting look at cutting-edge technology during Nature at Night: Summer Series! Meet a mechanical engineer from Los Alamos National Laboratory and experience a real “robot dog” in action.

Explore the nature center after hours with themed activities, crafts, and outdoor fun for all ages. Starting at 5 PM, enjoy a special guest experience featuring a live demonstration of a robot dog and opportunities to observe how it moves, responds, and navigates its environment.

Learn how robots like those developed by Boston Dynamics are designed to perform repetitive or dangerous tasks, and discover the engineering behind these fascinating machines.

Nature at Night is a free weekly program at the Los Alamos Nature Center, happening Wednesdays from 4–6 PM. During June and July, the Summer Series includes special guest presenters beginning at 5 PM, adding even more opportunities to connect with science and nature.
