What would happen if an asteroid hit Earth? How can we protect ourselves from interplanetary threats? How must we look to the future to avoid the same fate as the dinosaurs? Come to Los Alamos High School Astronomy Club’s planetarium presentation on planetary defense to find the answers to all these questions!
 

About the Presenter:
The Los Alamos High School Astronomy Club is a student-led organization dedicated to exploring and sharing the wonders of the universe. Through events like star parties, solar eclipse viewings, and guest lectures by astronomers and astrophysicists, the club fosters a love of space science among students and the community. Members also engage in hands-on observation sessions using telescopes and promote discussions about astronomical phenomena, making the club a hub for curiosity and discovery in Los Alamos.

Nature Center doors open at 6:45pm.
Planetarium events in general are not recommended for children under 5.
